Pence tells Pyongyang to view US military action in Syria, Afghanistan as warning

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence visited the border between North Korea and South Korea this morning before he warned Pyongyang against testing “the strength of the armed forces of the United States in this region.” Pence also said that the “era of patience” with North Korea is over.

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence landed on Sunday morning in Seoul in order to meet with South Korean officials and discuss how the two countries can deal with the North Korean issue. On Monday, he visited the Korean Demilitarized Zone between the Korean Peninsula’s two countries.

At the border, Pence sent a message to North Korea, saying that “all options are on the table” to deal with Pyongyang’s threats. He also said that the “era of patience” with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has come to an end.

Yesterday, JOL reported that North Korea’s latest ballistic missile test, which was carried out just hours before Pence landed in Seoul to kick off his 10-day trip to Asia, failed as the missile exploded just a few moments after the launch.
