Why are policemen fighting like a bunch of patsies with pepper spray against people who belong in jail?

This is madness.

Pepper spray is a useful tool in very specific situations, but not against grown men who are attacking policemen.

Have the courts and politicians in France decided to tie the hands of the police to this level?

If so, it is just a matter of time till more havoc becomes the norms on the streets of France.
